Touch Screen Integration

You can use Datacraft’s Global Hospitality Web alongside the latest in meeting room touch screen hardware, giving employees an easy-to-use platform for booking and managing meeting rooms, all through the touch panel. There are two variations of the Touch Screen Integration Module, depending upon the touch screen hardware option:

Crestron Touch Screen Integration Module

Crestron touch screens are used by organisations to interface with the powerful Crestron HVAC control system, allowing users fingertip control over the room environment, audio/video equipment, and much more. The Crestron Touch Screen Integration Module allows users to control meeting room bookings directly through the touch screen too. With a fully integrated Crestron panel, organisations can now have intelligent ‘rooms of the future’, where control of all aspects of a meeting room are at the users’ fingertips.

This cutting-edge solution was developed through close co-operation between the Crestron and Datacraft development teams.

With a Crestron Screen located outside or inside a meeting room, users can:

►	Visually see whether a meeting room is Free or Booked in *Global Hospitality Web*
►	Identify when a meeting room is next Free
►	Book a vacant room ‘on the fly’ in *Global Hospitality Web* directly through the touch screen panel
►	View all meetings booked for the day for a room, including the Host or PA of meetings, including their extension numbers
►	Check in and out of pre-booked meetings with a touch of the screen, dynamically updating the status of the meeting in *Global Hospitality Web*
►	Further integration with the Crestron HVAC System allowing control of the room environment according to the meeting status in *Global Hospitality Web*
►	Use electronic ID cards to check into rooms, book and extend/end meetings

The panel functions may be customised to suit each client's needs. With the Crestron Touch Screen Integration Module, information and booking requests are communicated seamlessly with Global Hospitality Web. This fully integrated solution is ideal for the ‘meeting rooms of tomorrow’.

Web-Based Touch Screen Integration Module

There is also a web-based variant of the Touch Screen Integration Module, which offers the same functionality as the Crestron developed module. This web-based module can be used with any touch screen that can host a web browser, such as Firefox.
