Overview
Many firms have successfully implemented Global Hospitality Web™ onto their intranet. The software allows a wide population of users to place requests for meeting rooms. You can even choose to allow users to make direct bookings on-line.
We understand that this ability can make you fearful of losing control of your bookable meeting space.
You can allow members of your firm to do any or all of the following:
- View a room chart displaying availability of rooms and facilities
- Complete an electronic form to send requests for rooms and facilities
- Send an electronic form of their requirements to make a provisional booking
- Make a confirmed booking on-line.
No information needs to be re-keyed. The Users complete their requirements' form and the data they have provided is converted into a booking directly onto the Room Chart
Careful consideration needs to be given to security and access levels and the display and concealment of information. Great care should be taken over the design of the user forms. However, your own "house style" can be imposed on Global Hospitality Web™ so that users can see that it resembles other Intranet services.
